During my career, I've been an illustrator, graphic designer, and an art director and executive in the publishing industry. It's this breadth of experience on both sides of the table that gives me appreciation of the give and take of the creative process and the necessity of meeting deadline and budget for my clients.

I've studied at Whittier College and the Katonah Arts Center and have both studied and been an instructor at the School of Visual Arts. Additionally, I've mentored private students and also had the opportunity to teach children through the Pleasantville, NY, Recreation Department. My own course of study has included instruction from Robert Speier, Milton Glaser, William P. Duffy and Jock MacRae.

My illustrations have won awards from the Art Director's Club, the American Institute of Graphic Arts and The One Show. The work has been featured in Art Direction, Advertising Techniques and Idea magazines.

In my preferred illustration medium of colored pencil over watercolor, I strive to develop a luminous surface describing friendly, fanciful subjects. Work can be delivered in it's original form or digitally per the needs of the client.
