Lovely year-round accommodations for families & groups

How We Review

First, we only mention places we've visited and tried out personally.

Everyone's tastes differ, of course, but we've eaten in restaurants from the 5 star Stone Barns to random food trucks, and we know what good is.

If something looks good but you have questions, give us a call and we'll try to advise you.

Wiscassett —

Little Village Bistro

Fine dining but not too formal
open year round
65 Gardiner Road • 207-687-8232 • http://www.littlevillagebistro.com
NOTE: If you’re looking for a lovely sit-down dinner with elegant food, this is a great choice. Not too expensive (most entrees are about $22), small place, lovely décor. Quiet, and the cocktails are reputed to be delicious! Most folks dress up a bit, but you will see the occasional flannel and baseball cap, and that says it all about Maine! Calamari and the steaks have been a big hit.
